The new ‘Trevilder’ restaurant at The Thurlestone Hotel undertook a refurbishment in early 2017. We have carried out the electrical maintenance works for the hotel for a number of years and were asked to undertake the electrical works for the project. Our package of works included the full rewire of the restaurant areas to the design requirements of the London based designers at Fabled Studio. The installation consisted of a complete new lighting design which was all controlled by a Lutron Lighting Control System, power and data installation for till points, CCTV Cameras linked to a system we had previously installed, addressable fire detection and integrated audio system.
During the restaurant refurbishment, the hotel arranged for a complete new commercial kitchen to be installed by another contractor. Our team worked closely alongside to design, install and commission all required circuits and controls for the new kitchen equipment and ventilation systems. It was decided the new kitchen were to accommodate solely electric appliances, resulting in the upgrade of submain cabling and distribution boards to allow for the additional power requirements of the new equipment.
